STC ---straight tube connector
This connector is used to connect two tubes with the same inner and outer diameter. Depending on the ratio of outside and inside dimensions the STC connector is either categorized as DB (direct burial)or DI (duct install).
TEC ---tube end connector
This connector is used to terminate a tube. Only the outer diameter of the tube is relevant. TEC connectors with outer diameter < 7 mm: DI TEC connectors with outer diameter ≥ 7 mm: DB
RTC---reduction tube connector
With this connector, two tubes with different outdoor diameters can be connected. The inner diameter of the connector is mostly a smooth transition between the inner diameters of the tubes that are joined. Depending on the ratio of outside and inside dimension of the RTC connector is categorized as DB or DI.
