Supporting Tesla’s Assembly Line – A Proud Moment for Our Team
One day, our team received an email from the maintenance department of Tesla, Inc..
They informed us that several of our sensors were being used in one of their assembly lines, and they urgently needed two replacement units.
Interestingly, they identified our company through the product logo and ordering code printed on the sensors, which they searched via Google. This was a great confirmation of our brand visibility and traceability.
We immediately offered to provide the two replacement sensors free of charge to help them resolve the issue quickly. However, there was one challenge — our company was not yet registered in Tesla’s purchasing system, so we could not supply them directly.
To solve this, we worked quickly to identify the original supply chain. Eventually, we located our U.S.-based customer, a partner of KUKA AG, who is also an official supplier to Tesla and still had our sensors in stock.
Through this collaboration, Tesla was able to receive the required parts and restore their assembly line without delay.
